The huda beauty liquid matte lipstick is an unrivalled take on the liquid lipstick. The tried-and-true comfort-wear formula has a unique compound that helps to keep lips hydrated. The lightweight formula applies a thin coat of colour that deepens as it dries to a matte, transfer-free finish with incredible wear time. You could forget you’re wearing anything at all on your lips! To complete your appearance, add a complementary Huda Beauty Lip Contour.
Packaging
Refer to the packaging for more information. The huda beauty liquid matte lipstick is a rectangular cut, meaning it’s trapezoid shape and has a doe-foot applicator, just like the tube. This isn’t the element of surprise. The external cardboard wrapping, which is around 4-5 times the size of the main tube, is a unique feature. The tube may be seen through the cardboard box’s translucent enclosure, although it’s not very practical for storage. The external cardboard should be discarded before storing.
Colour
This shade appealed to me since online swatches suggested it was a darker version of Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid shade “Mother,” which I like. Rosewood is a good description for this tone, which is more like a filthy pink. The colour is lovely and easy to wear with a variety of outfits. The colour changes to a sombre colour within the first 20 minutes after application, just as the Colourpop. So, while the colour appears to be pretty comparable to my natural lips colour when applied, it does deepen to approximately two shades darker, as seen in the original lips, after about 15-20 minutes.
Pigmentation
The pigmentation of The huda beauty liquid matte lipstick is fantastic!!! It applies smoothly, without streaking, and the colour does not sink into the small wrinkles of the lips. If you use a little too much product, there’s a potential that the excess will transfer. If you stick to a very thin application, though, you’ll get “bam” colouration with a rapid dry time and no transference.
Staying Power
Another concern with the product is that it does not last long. I tried it without a lip liner and with a lip liner; however, none of these options stayed put for very long. Even with limited eating, The huda beauty liquid matte lipstick fades from more than half of my bottom lip within 4-5 hours. And, in the past, whatever lipstick that had broken down on my lower lip would stay put on my top lip. This one, on the other hand, cuts through half of my upper lip and then vanishes! There is also no staining, which can be a plus or minus depending on your preferences. A stain is one of my favourite things. This one, on the other hand, will simply leave you and leave!
Wrapping Up
Finally, it occurred to me that the problem wasn’t that I couldn’t form an opinion about the product; rather, it was that I couldn’t form an opinion about the product. It was only that my preconceived notions about the product clashed with my actual experience, and the two didn’t fit together. As a result, I kept giving it a shot, thinking The huda beauty liquid matte lipstick would live up to the expectations. No, this did not become my favourite lipstick formula overnight. Nope! Now that I’ve covered the fundamentals, let’s go into the specifics of the product:
